The VIRTUS driver's sight device uses two different cameras. Alternative combinations are an uncooled thermal imager and a residual light intensifier, an uncooled thermal imager and a daylight camera, or a residual light intensifier and a daylight camera. The images of the two sensors can be superimposed, where the user can select the superimposition ratio depending on the information of the scene. The image is displayed on different sized flat-panel monitors (depending on the space available). | |
